MOLLYCON!!!

captain_slinkyWhile we've been doing some EXTENSIVE cleaning today, Molly has been running about the house doing something secret. Lots of little questions, like "Do we have any nice clean paper I haven't used yet?" and "Can you find a bos for me about the size of a desk?" and "Can you cut up this box to be the shape of a desk for me"... weird little requests.
Shortly after dinner, we found out why - and it only cost us TWO MOLLY DOLLARS:
We bought tickets to MOLLYCON, The biggest and best comic book convention in our entire cul de sac!
MOLLYCON involved many fun activities, the first of which was that all attendees have to be in costume for the big Costume Contest.
(I won the costume contest)
Many of the activities took place outside. First was the "Super Race From The Car To The Mailbox To The Car".
I almost got out of this one because I didn't have shoes on, but then Bat-Crystal said "Hey Molly... go get Daddy's Crocks so he can be in the race!" and then she gave me THIS look as Molly ran off...
Then there were several other hero-themed events outside, such as:
"Squirt The Bucket", an approximation of water/ice based super powers, and:
"Save The Playmobile People From Drowning in The Pool".
We then went inside for *my* favorite event of the whole event,
MAKE A BOOK! We each got to make our own little comic book based on one of Molly's stuffed animals! I showed her how to make a quick and easy mini-comic, and then we all three chose our animals and got to making books!
The evening was then capped off by Molly announcing the winner of the Costume Contest (ME!), and then trying to get more Molly Dollars out of me by selling me my own comic books. I finally talked her in to a pretty good deal of 4 for a dollar :)
