Nothing but re-runs on TV, so it's time for a Crappy Movie! I have collected some of the finest $5-to-$10 DVD's available, each one worth AT LEAST what I paid for them! My choices tonight are:

-Hell Comes To Frog Town Starring "Rowdy" Roddy Piper as the last man alive in an apocolyptic future full of sexy women and mutated frog-creatures.

-South Bronx Heroes With Mario Van Peebles, breakdancing, a ferret, and the best Street Punks that 1984 had to offer!

-The Punisher Starring Dolph Lundgren as the Marvel Comics vigilante... only without the cool skull on his shirt, the cool inner dialogue, and/or a cohesive plotline.

-Blood Fight With that guy who was the bad guy in "Enter The Dragon" and "Bloodsport", so you know there's gonna be a lot of slow-motion kicking!

-Ministry of Vengence Starring John Schneider as a pissed-off guy of some sort. Takes place some time after he lived in Hazzard County, but before he became Superman's dad.
...And of course, I've saved the BESTR for last...
-David Hasselhoff in "Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical" I think the title says it all!

Wow, I think I'm actually jealous

Though I'm not sure what is says about my taste in movies.

My vote is for Jekyll&Hyde (actually, he's supposed to be really good in it) or Hell Comes to Frog Town. Dammit, but even South Bronx Heroes sounds intriguing in that car wreck, watching through your fingers kinda way.....

Okay, first off: The words "Good" and "Hasselhoff" shopuld rarely be seen in the same sentance together, unless it is something like "It's good that David Hasselhoff isn't here right now". So I'm proud of you that you didn't actually *mention* his name *directly* in that comment.

But come on... he's supposed to be GOOD in it??? By what standards??? Good as in "Hey! No one is carving my genetalia right now!" good? Because yeah, I'd say it's that good, if not better.

ALright, alright.... So you have a point, you have discovered i'm actually german.... No really, I don't think they should be used in the same sentence either, but i have heard that, and no, i don't know what it's in comparison to, but i kinda want to see it in the morbid fascination, watching a train wreck through your fingers kinda way.

Wow. That was two sentences.

Impressive, even for me

And the Academy Award goes to Roddy Piper!

I must admit, I'm also torn: "Hell Comes to Frogtown" is a winner in the "Ouch, that hurt my soul" category, particularly it's sequels: "Frogtown II" and "The Toad Warrior", though they couldn't even get Piper for the sequels.

But David Hasselhoff doing "Jeckyl & Hyde" is such a frightening proposition, it just might be enough to edge out the top spot for terrifying cinema.

Not just Hasselhoff as Jeckyl & Hyde... but in a MUSICAL about Jeckyly & Hyde!
