I'm becoming kind of obsessed with Ace TV, an interesting live-stream channel on my Roku. Obsessed, because I can't find any information ANYWHERE about it other than the single-line description on the Roku Channel Listings:
Ace TV brings you a single live stream that airs 24/7 B-grade Martial Arts, Action, Horror, and Sci-fi movies.

...the only further information I can find in on a Roku forum where they add -
According to the developers the movies begin on the hour (every 2 hours) and air vintage television commercials in the interim. Most of the movies would be considered public domain.

And by "Considered Public Domain", I'm pretty sure they mean "If anybody associated with making this stuff is willing to admit it and take credit for this, they would have done it by now".

Last night there was a bipolar little film on that was an early 80's cross between a College Frat Boy Sex Comedy, and a Dystopian Cyberpunk Sci-Fi Horror. The movie kept violently switching gears! Like, in this scene a PUNK REBEL (as indicated by his shoulder pads, spiked hair and 80's eye make-up face painting) talking to a Killer Cyborg named either "Splatter" or "Bladder" (couldn't quite make out the name) about how he should NOT use his Cyber-Claw to kill because they are a pacifist rebelion. The Cyborg looks at his flexing cyber-claw (a glove with hypodermic needles on the fingertips) and quietly reflects on his life choices...

CUT TO FRAT HOUSE, where the popped-collar bad boys of Delta Gamma Whatevah are throwing a RAGER of a party! Nerds are looking at boobs, girls are dancing lasciviously, and preppy 80's boys are looking over the rims of their rayban sunglasses to watch the boobies of lasciviously dancing girls. Fellows, we are all gonna get DRUNK and get LAID TO-NIGHT! WOOO!!! A bunch of one-liner jokes of guys using stupid pick-up lines on girls and getting slapped, or touching girls butts, or tricking girls into taking their tops off, then...

CUT TO RIOT, where the face-painted Shoulder Pad Wearing Dystopian Future Punks are being covered by a News Team as they burn something down and listen to other punks play their electric guitars! Bladder The Cyborg talks to a punk-lady who says "You can't kill me, I'm the only one who can remind you that you were once human!"

CUT TO FRAT HOUSE, where the Popped-Collar Frat Boys have been tricked in to having sex with a fat lady with big boobies! They all have a good laugh, then put on face paint eye make-up like the punks and go driving around town. A pickup full of OTHER popped-collar Frat Boys pulls up along side them and starts yelling stuff like "GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM!" while pelting them with beer bottles. The Frat Boys feel sad - is *this* what it's like for Punks?

CUT TO BLADDER THE CYBORG, who is beating the crap out of the lady he had been talking to, all the while calling her every vile name in the book.

It was at this point that I turned off the movie.

WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST WATCH?!?!?!

I'm going to keep posting about this Ace TV in hopes that these posts might lead to somebody, somewhere knowing who "The Developers" are, and maybe - just *maybe - I'll find some other fans of this obscure little channel. As far as I can tell, the only place you can watch this channel is on a Roku - have not found a website, a YouTube Channel, a Livestream, a Realplayer Channel, ANYTHING.

I wish I could share this channel with people who don't have a Roku, it's seriously incredible viewing!

Even if you have a Roku, it can be tricky - its a Private Channel and not listed through the regular Roku Channel Search. I found it through RokuChannelGuide.com which lists EVERY Roku channel, private or not!
