A few months back, I sold my entire record collection (something like 6 cases of the things) because the collection had lost it's focus. Originally it had been a collection of Kids Records from the 60's, 70's and 80's, the type that usually came with a read-along comic book so it was *technically* part of my comic book collection. Then it expanded to include rare music that wasn't on tape or CD (been collecting for a while, before The Internet). Then I also added in Comedy Records, Soundtracks, Disney Records, and records I remembered from my past. And then - THEN The Internet happened, and the Craigslist Free Section! One day I responded to an ad that said "Basement full of old records, free, must take all". So yeah, I went and got them all. TOO MANY RECORDS. So I sold 'em all.

...Or so I thought.

Just found two cases of vinyl that had been segregated from the rest of the records for some reason, and I'm very happy about it - seems to be the entirety of my Disney Records, 90% of my Christmas Records, maybe half of my comedy records and a ton of soundtracks from the 70's and 80's (including the Robin Williams "Popeye" soundtrack as seen above)!

I really had no idea that all these records were over there... I knew I had kept a bunch of my Christmas records and that they were *somewhere*, but to have found THIS - Every Weird Al Yankovic record up to and including "Even Worse", Every Steve Martin album, all the Disneyland Park Soundtracks, all the 1970's Mousketeer albums, the Muppet Movie Soundtrack, A Clockwork Orange, Rocky, Bob & Doug McKenzie Great White North Album... it's all here!

If I can get stuff cleaned up a bit this week, I'm going to have to break out my USB Turntable and rip some of these to MP3 :)
