114 - GALAVANT!

The two Freshman Season shows we REALLY enjoyed last year, Agent Carter and Galavant, have both been renewed for second seasons! YAAAAY!!!

Neither of these shows looked very likely to get renewed - Agent Carter had a terrible timeslot and an episodic story arc that lead to poor ratings, and Galavant was a mid-season fill-in "Event" that decided to air all it's new episodes in double-episode viewings, forcing an hour commitment each week for a show that was paced for half-hourly installments.

So glad they both got renewed!

I was SO HAPPY to hear these made the cut. I loved everything about Agent Carter. Its timeslot was perfect for us, but not for everybody. Being episodic is a problem for someone who just wants to jump in, but we were on board from day one.

We missed the last episode of Galavant, so we need to sit down and stream it. It really was a fun show.

Oh, I'm so happy to hear this! I was afraid they wouldn't be just with the reasoning that shows I like rarely get a second season haha.
