132 - Challenging Day

Since we just committed to one of our "The Only Way We Could Go If *This* and *That* and *The Other Seventeen Things* Happen But There's No Way Those Things Would All Happen At Once So Why Even Bother" trips to Disneyland, I'm officially on one of my Self Improvement kicks. Diet, Exercise, Cleaning, Making Lamps... all that stuff that I would always have time for in a perfect world. I low-key started it over the weekend, with a hard set start day of TODAY.

And today, everything fell apart pretty danged quick. Salvageable, but challenging.

Halloween at Disneyland is WONDERFUL! We will once again be going for Molly's Birthday at the end of January - who knows, maybe the Railroad will be open by then! "Spring 2017" is right around then, right?

Incredible $67 flights on Southwest, our Best Western Rewards finally got us a free night, and our friend who works at Disney is getting us a bunch of days in the park for free - how could we NOT do it?

Where will you two be staying this time?

Nice! Sounds like you really got a great situation going there.

We didn't get our first or second choice hotel. We're at Anaheim Plaza Hotel & Suites. It's a bit farther away than the Best Western, which is our first choice, but still in walking distance, so it's hard to complain.

They're doing a Dia de los Muertes thing at Rancho del Zocalo this year. I don't know if they did it before, but it sounds like something I really need to check out. The food sounds goooood.
