American Idiot
Sep. 21st, 2004 04:41 pmI've spent a good part of today listening to Green Day's newest album, American Idiot, which has been being called "The Punk-Rock Sgt. Pepper" by several reviewers who are much smarter than I am.
Oh, it's good... REAL good! And it al just fits together very nicely, not just with each other song on the album, but also with the band's entire history. I can totaly see the comparison to Sgt. Pepper. It's like everything they've ever done previously, but approached in a methodical and artistic manner that just makes each song seem better and better with each listening.
