Good news?

We didn't get the gig in Fife. So my commute will stay at 10 minutes instead of an hour, we get to stay in the North-End with all the trees, we don't have to move all our stuff, I get to keep my weekends and we get to keep all our free Comcast services!

The only two negatives? We won't get to save up all the money for a nice down payment on a house any time soon, and I won't get to see REO Speedwagon at the Emerald Queen Casino in August :(

But I'll post the request here because I know that [livejournal.com profile] tigernach might see this and she'll know where I should look thanks to her affiliation with Neal.

I'm looking for a good link to a run-down of what fast-food and convenience market tie-ins there are for the new Superman Returns movie. My Blingo searches have only resulted in gettign me some poorly constructed Ebay auctions and misdirected links to forum threads.

I want pictures of kids meal toys! Pics of the different collector cups! And where do i get them? And what do I have to buy?

Any help beyond "Learn how to use Google, you moron" is greatly appreciated :)

Since I have Friday off, we'll be going to see a movie matinee! But which movie?

We're already going to see Superman Returns on Sunday at the Imax theater, but I'd kinda like to see it once without the 3-D effects added, and sitting in the seats that are MY seats (7th row from the front, 12 seats in). And it's certainly not as if I'm gonna look back and say "Dang! I saw Superman Returns too many times in the theater!" Superman Returns shows tomorrow at our FAVORITE theater (the uncrowded one near the mall) at 9:40, Noon, and 12:30 (the showings I am considering).

Also showing at that theater is Disney/Pixar's new one, Cars. I'm not so hot on seeing this film because the subject matter just doesn't really appeal to me, but I gotta see it because it's Pixar and, well, every Pixar film is MAGIC. Cars shows tomorrow morning at 9:50, 10:15 and 12:40.

Across the street at The Big Theater in the Mall Parking Lot we have X-Men: The Last Stand. I have not yet seen this movie, and it saddens me that I my not get to see it on The Big Scereen; th eonly X-Men movie that I'll have missed in the theaters! I could take this opportunity to remedy that. X-Men: The Last Stand shows at 11:40.

And also across the street is the Dreamworks CG kids flick Over The Hedge. I've always wanted to see it, and now I've got co-werker parents telling me it's a must-see! The best animated film from Dreamworks since Shrek! Over The Hedge shows at 11:20.
