It's a common misconception
Nov. 5th, 2008 02:48 pmI keep seeing/hearing stuff about how Obama will "Have to deliver" and he "Has a lot to prove" and "There's no way he can live up to the expectations that his followers have of him".
But that's not what it's all about. It's not about what HE has to do, it's about what WE, as a nation have to do now. And maybe that's The Big Difference?
Maybe the folks who were torn about who to vote for are of a mind that once they voted, their job was done? That they could just sit back and let Rainbows fly out of Obama's butt that would heal the sick and feed the children?
I voted for Obama becuase i want a participatory Government. I *personally* want to help each and every citizen. I want America to be what it once was; the "Superman" of countries! We can stand for Truth, Justice and The American Way!
Voting wasn't just a vote... it was a promise that you'll help make America great again!
