Al-you-MIN-ee-yum

Ten years ago today. A small grove of trees in a public park, a VERY small assortment of friends, and a nontraditional ceremony that declared by The Powers Of Some Guys On The Internet, Crystal and I were now in the eyes of The Law as we always had been from the moment she arrived in Seattle; we two halves had found our missing pieces and created one glorious Whole :-)

Ten years of Marriage! I can barely remember life before we were together, like some weird movie on the shelf at Blockbuster that looks kind of familiar, I remember bits and pieces but can't recall the story or the plot, so I carry the box around the store with me but eventually dump it near the Horror section because ooh look they have Sleepaway Camp 3: The Director's Cut!

Crystal is my Sleepaway Camp 3 Director's Cut, and I haven't been back to that Blockbuster Video since I rented it - think I'll just wait till they close that location and keep this copy forever :-)

Not everybody gets to find True Love, but those of us who HAVE found it know and appreciate it every day :-)

Today is my 10th Wedding Anniversary, so I'm taking the day off from my Diet so I can take my darling out for a nice meal that's not twigs and dead animal bits served in a condensed and aged lactic fluid. Well okay it'll still be twigs and dead animal bits served in a condensed and aged lactic fluid, but it'll also have some rice or tortillas involved as well :)
