Left work early tonight. I HAVE to find out what's triggering my allergy attacks there! Just when I think I'm safe and I've taken all my medicine and life is good, BANG! My body aches, my eyes swell shut, my throat closes up and i can't hear very well (all in that order, usually over the course of an hour from first ache to my last muffled "Huh?").

I really can't afford to miss the work. REALLY can't afford it :(

Do they use those timed air fresheners there? The kind that puff out aerosol scent at intervals?

I don't *think* so... just in the restrooms. But this is just a recent development. I've worked here for two years, but the severe allergy reactions have just been in the past few months :(

Change in cleaning products from the janitorial staff? They wipe off desks and phones and things, so perhaps something is being absorbed that your body isn't happy with?

you don't suppose it might have something to do with the walls getting soaked clear through last spring do you? Sure they steamed the carpets a few months later but what about the walls and the interior walls? And you are not the only one who have problems.

Or maybe its the Hawaiian shirts...how were you with the plain tee yesterday? ;-)
