captain_slinkyMolly has only gained an ounce since she was born. Aparently this is bad. Babies are supposed to gain more than that, something like a half-ounce per DAY. Now I'm no matematician, but that means she should be somewhere around 147 pounds by now instead of just over 7 pounds. Our little Molly just doesn't like to eat :(
Y'know, there was another couple delivering a baby at the EXACT SAME TIME we were at the hospital. Like, the Nurses kept on jogging from room to room to try and see which one was gonna come out first (we beat the other couple by about 4 minutes). Now I know that Molly never left my sight while we were there, but do you suppose that somewhere in Mount Lake Terrace there's a couple of ultra-skinny people trying desperately to find more beef to feed their monster 27-pound flatulent hairy baby?
Of course this is just exactly what I was expecting. I've been wondering what Molly would do to rebel against us since we're so open to any and all life choices she might make. All the traditional stuff to piss your parents off just seem so done now, ya know? Piercings, tattoos, funky hair, weird fashion... it's all been done! But for her to be a skinny cheerleader who says stuff like "I just eat and eat but I can't gain any weight *tee hee*!", well that's just the last straw! And I'll bet she'll be a crazy devout religious person, too! AAAAARGH!!!

But that's not good on the wieght thing and the only way I can remember the ounce thing, is that 16 ounces is a pint and a pint's a pound the world 'round.
