Robot Butler, or Monkey Butler?

For the purpose of this question, please note that any and all creatures that the average Joe would refer to as a "Monkey" (including Gorillas, Chimpanzees and Orangutans) can be considered for the position of your butler.

Also, you're not allowed to choose a Robotic Monkey Butler, because I already chose that. If you choose it then you're just a copy-cat.

A monkey butler. A robot butler would only turn on you when the revolution came.

Have we already forgotten the lesson we learned from Roddy McDowel and the entire line of "...Of The Apes" movies? It was a wise man who once said "Those who do not learn from fake futer-history are doomed to repeat it".

That may be, but it's a lot easier to take out a monkey than a robot.

I'm not sure I would want to take out a Monkey, but I completely see where you're coming from! Who can resist those nearly-human eyes, those supple red buttocks, thaose invitingly leathery nipples...

Oh yeah.. I'm SO there!

I hate monkeys so much.

So..... shall I put you down for a Robo-Butler then?

A robot built with todays technology would suck.A robot from the future I would totally go with. At the same time I would say no to the monkey. They stink, they are messy, and require care + supervision, not to mention feeding them. Robot is better.

Robot requires maintenance. And of course there's "That Time Of The Month" when he reverts to his Military Programming and tries to DESTROY ALL HU-MANS DESTROY ALL HU-MANS...

Ahh, but what if it were a SUPER-INTELLIGENT Monkey, capable of speaking?

So he could verbally insult you while through poo at you?

Yes, but in a wacky, fun-filled way! Hillarity and hijinks a-plenty!

Robot Butler. No feeding necessary, save for a battery recharge. As an added bonus, you don't have to concern yourself with a butler flinging poo!

Or at least you don't THINK you have to worry about the robot flinging poo!

Well, at least you don't have to worry about the butler flinging his OWN poo!

I guess not... but you DO have to worry about "That Time Of The Month" when your Robo-Butler reverts to his original Military ptogramming and goes on his DESTROY ALL HU-MANS DESTROY ALL HU-MANS DESTROY ALL HU-MANS rampage...

Well, that depends on the type of benefits package you offer him (or her) at the time of employment. If you have him (her) sign a contract, you can have planned leaves of absences to accomodate these cycles.

BAH! With my Monkey Butler I don't have to make such accomodations!

I think I'll go with the Robot butler. Then i'll download & install the "emotional ability" mod, as well as the "adoration of the nani" mod. It will take care of the house, & I will bring it cans of air, shiny dustrags to polish his nickel-plated casing, & replace all his plastic & nylon parts with metal parts, as well as a periodic lube job. Then we will live happily ever after. The end!

Ahh, an excellent choice! And would that be a classic 50's-style robot, or a modernized Wil Smith "I Robot" model?

I think my Mokey-Robot Butler will be semi-retro, like "Conky" on Pee Wee's Playhouse.

She is indeed very nice... so you're going for an Anime non-robotic looking robot. Gotcha ;)
