Today was my first half-day of being the Stay-At-Home Daddy, and it went so much better than I could have ever expected! Molly woke herself up in a VERY good mood at 8:30am (giving Daddy a full hour of Pre-Parental-Mode Computer Time) and let me change her diaper with absolutely no incident. She then patiently watched Sesame Street while I made her breakfast and cleaned the kitchen. And then, after about an hour of playing, she helped me put away her toys (sort of) and let me dress her in no less than three different outfits before I found one that looked right (I may color-blind and have the worst fashion-sense of all time, but even *I* know that pink sweat-pants and a black long-sleeve shirt don't go together on a sunny day)!

Then Crystal came home at Noon and we headed out to do our business for the day. Lap-Band fill for me (I lost another 8 pounds btw, now sitting at exactly 350 Lbs.) and a Dental Appointment for [livejournal.com profile] khristle. Oh, and a nice visit to The Park in between the two that really hit the spot!

If it hadn't been fo the fact that Comcast "accidentally" disconnected our Television and Phone Service today, it would have been PERFECT :)

So how much credit do you get for a Disconnect In Error when it's CDV, anywho?

Yeah, they made me sign all the stuff about which services I wanted to keep and everything, and then they STILL fouled it up somehow! Keeping HSI and CDV, getting rid of Video. HOW HARD CAN THAT BE?!?!?!

Did you call the help desk? j/k

I had no idea you were gone. I'm going through the posts and I read yours from days about about people getting replaced by those for cheaper. Been there twice! In IT jobs! And people said that's "what you have to go into" to get a job for like $80k a year. Yeah, my ass. When I was laid off the last time I was around $40k.

enjoy your time! You'll love it.

We looked at Comcast digital voice, and it was big expensive compared to Vonage. Do you get some lingering good deal on it?

$33 a month for the first 6 months, plus I didn't have to pay for install. After that we'll either switch to Vonage or just upgrade our cel phone plan.

Gotcha. We were looking at the cell-phone-only thing too, but the dollars didn't make as much sense sinec mine is complicated (work) and we were trying to reduce the costs for Penny's.
