loos pretty cool, but I am not familiar with the story. Sounds like an anime title I remember. What is it about?

Tends to go well with the latest meme,

The story was actually the inspiration for George Romero's Night Of The Living Dead. In a nut-shell, a plague slowly kills 3/4 of the population, turns the other 1/4 in to sort of hybrid Zombie/Vampires who can only come out at night. And for some reason this ONE MAN remains uneffected. I won't tell you why the story/movie is call "I Am Legend" because it's kinda the entire twist/reveal/last line of the book... but it's pretty damned cool! And an excellent short read, so I definately reccomend picking up the short story compilation that it's part of :)

well, in trying to lookup the book to see how I could find one, they tend to print the twist on most book pages it seems, but still it sounds interesting, and the book seems to be credited with singlehandedly starting the whole zombie genre and being the canon for it.

I no longer doubt anything Wil Smith does. He's more than proven that he knows what he's doing. Whether it's a summer blockbuster popcorn movie or an emotional drama, he owns the role & makes it enjoyable.

I love Will Smith in action roles. I wonder if this one would be too scary and intense for me. ex: Signs = panic attack in theatre. The trailer sure looks cool though.

If Signs was too intense fo you then yeah, this movie won't be your cup of tea :( The script I read way back in the day was VERY intense in a "Night Of The Living Dead" kind of way.

I only read "I Am Legend" for the first time last year, and the ending blew me away. I'm actually looking forward to seeing this movie.

I thought the trailer for the movie looked pretty good too. I'm just not counting on the movie actually resembling the book. Or, if it does, it may not be the same classic sci-fi story i'm thinking of.

I intend to sit back, sip my cola, eat the popcorn & generally enjoy Wil Smith give a fun performance.
