...Anybody on my FL need a copy of Windows Vista Home Premium (full Retail version, not OEM or Upgrade)? Sells at WalMart for $220, I'll let any of you have it for $170 plus FREE shipping/delivery.

If nobody needs or wants it, I'm gonna stick it on CraigsList this weekend for $175. I know there's a guy who will buy it at that price... he calls me every time I post a copy!

(btw, this is completely legit. I got the Vista as a "Gratuity" for play-testing a game at Microsoft this evening. And what a game it was!)

Is there a demand for Vista? I think of all the people I know personally who use computers, only one person is running it, and that's because he's a rabid fan of the O/S.

There's as much demand for Vista as there is for pretty much any Windows OS... if your computer goes tits-up and you didn't keep your disks, you're screwed and will have to buy a new copy. But other than that, yeah, i can't imagine actually *wanting* a copy "just because"...
