Need to think of something to do tonight that will cheer me the heck up. Need something FUN. Something we can do as a FAMILY, by golly!

I think we're gonna go to the park and grill some food. Gonna do it the same way my Mom always did it back in the day... dip some Banquet Frozen Fried Chicken in BBQ sauce and stick it on the grill till it thaws.

Also, i intend to build my Portable Display Wall Version 1 tonight and test it out at the swap meet tomorrow.

Actually, you know what would make me happy? I think a few hours alone with my comic books and an ass-ton of They Might Be Giants just might do the trick...

Comics and TMBG... haven't had to use THAT particular mix of anti-depressants in quite a while!

If comics and TMBG is what you need, that's what you'll get! Molly and I can go hang out at a park for a bit. Love you!

Totally agree about the TMBG and comics thing.

In 1990 I discovered TMBG through my sisters right before heading off on a trip with my grandparents. I flew down to Georgia and then we drove to Texas to visit some family out there. Three days in the back of a camper with my Superman collection, a little boom box and the magic combination of the Superman score, the Batman score and TMBG's FLOOD.

Good times. Good times.

For me it was 1989, a $15 Walkman, a complete run of Garcia & Lopez's "Atari Force" and TMBG's "Lincoln". over and over and over again :)

Banquet frozen fried chicken in barbecue sauce 'til it thaws.

Now THAT'S an Iron Trash chef moment.

May just have to try that this weekend.

P.S.
