KITTY!!!

Molly has moved her obsession once again. In chronological order, it has gone down like this

• Marry Poppins
  
• A Day At Disneyland
  
• Wizard of Oz
  
• Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (Original w/Gene Wilder)
  
• VINTAGE TOM AND JERRY CARTOONS (current obsession)

Oh there have been other things she has flirted with and shown some attention to... Rogers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, Spider-Man, Yo Gabba Gabba... and there are things that are a constant love that will always bring a smile (The Wiggles, Barney, Sesame Street, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse)... but these are the things she has obsessed over and asked for over and over again. I'm rather happy about the current obsession leaning towards classic animation... she LOVES "Kitty" and seems to understand that "Kitty", "Mousie" and "Puppy" are all just playing. But when OTHER CATS are mean to "Kitty" she gets downright indignant! SCREAMING at the television "KITTIES! NO! STOP IT!!!"

This is very cool. She's growing up :)

For Kaiti, the obsession went from Elmo's World to The Lost Boys to Forrest Gump to Pulp Fiction.

I'm not sure how I feel about that.

I have a feeling that Molly's gonna go that way, too... I can only hope that my influence will steer her more towards "Plan 9 From Outerspace"!

Well, Kaiti actually did vary there towards the end. She REALLY liked Forrest Gump for a long time and kept going back to it. For a while, she was very obsessive about 70's/80's sitcoms so we watched a lot of All In The Family, Three's Company, The Jefferesons... Anything that was on Nick at Night.

After that, she turned to The Princess Bride, Boy Meets World and Better Off Dead.

The real question here is, as asked by Todd...

Is she watching Dr. Who yet??

Not only has she WATCHED Doctor Who, but she runs around the living room dancing every time she hears "DUNT duh-nuh Dunt duh-nuh Dunt duh-nuh DUNT duh-nah-nuh nuh oooooWeeeeeeeoooooOOOOOOOooooWooooooo" and screaming "DOCTAH WHO! DOCTAH WHO! WHERE ARE YOU???"

She also knows no less than three different doctors. The one she sits still for the most is Tom Baker :)
