Anywho...

Thanks to nani_ka and The Lynnwood Foodbank, I have massive quantities of perishable foodstuffs that will need to be made in to other perishable foodstuffs for freezing - AND FAST!!!

BANANAS!!!
APPLES!!!
CORN!!!
PUMPKIN!!!

Well okay, the Pumpkin is canned... but only for a few more weeks! I figure we'll start off making loaves of Pumpkin Apple Bread using canned pumpkin for now, then switch over to Banana Apple Bread once the Bananas get all blackish. Gonna blanch the corn right on the cob and freeze it that way. Gonna attempt a few Apple Tartlets, Apple Butter and Apple Brown Betty. Then, on the day after Halloween when all the pumpkins will be FREE, it's back to Pumpkin Bread!
