Gaming Group Forming
Jan. 12th, 2009 09:36 am![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
WHEN: Every other Friday Night between 5pm and 9pm (gaming will probably start at about 5:30 and wrap-up starting at 9pm), starting NEXT FRIDAY (1/23)
WHERE: My Place in Bothell (which is practically Woodinville, very easy to find)
WHO: Anybody who can make it, really. The more the merrier! Prefer non-smokers, or at the very least smokers who don't mind going far away from the house to do it because of some severe allergy issues in our household. Booze is permissible as long as you have a designated driver or are willing to crash on our Futon.
GAMES: Primarily Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition, but will devolve to other stuff such as Munchkin, Roborally, Zombies, M:TG and/or other stuff if not enough people show up to support the D&D properly that week. The D&D "Campaign" I have set-up will be extremely easy to insert and delete characters at will, so you don't have to worry about joining late.
WHAT TO BRING: A first-level character, preferably generated via the D&D Character Generator Beta (available on the WotC website for free right now), your own dice (loaners available upon request), any D&D Minis and/or books you feel you may need (PHB), Potluck-style Snax (something to share with everybody such as a bag of chips or drinkage).
As far as who/what you should be playing in this game? Well you'll probably need your basic set of Fighter, Healer, Rogue and Spellcaster at the very least. I'll have several characters already printed out in case you can't decide... I'm having a blast with the character creator software :) Only advice I have for you is to avoid "Outdoorsy" classes... 98% of your adventures are going to be indoors and that Wilderness Survival skill isn't going to come in to much use...
Please reply if you intend to come, and feel free to invite folks who you think would fit in!

Date: 2009-01-15 05:14 am (UTC)He'd probably try and make me play, but I don't think he's going to win that battle.
I do not have sugary poops (I don't think?) in case your brain went literal on that. Or rather I should say that I wouldn't know. He also calls both Aurelia & I "honey pot" or "honey bucket" which I've slowly gotten used to :P
