Emerald City Comic Con

The Emerald City Comic Con is coming up fast! April 4th and 5th! Looking over the site to see what things I'm stoked for so far...

• Wil Wheaton, of course!
• Jewel Staite who will be charging a fee for her autograph :(
• NINTENDO is one of the sponsors this year!
• Suicide Girls are also a sponsor this year... again. Always nice to have scantily-clad nerd-girls there :)
• Noel Neil, the ORIGINAL Lois Lane! Since i struck-out with Margot Kidder two years ago, this is my second chance to bag me a Lois!
• Gris Grimly, a film maker I've never heard of but who's credits include Cannibal Flesh Riot, so he can't be all bad!
• Bruce Timm, so I can finally ask him what was up with Superman's cheeks in that "Superman/Doomsday" direct-to-DVD movie.
• Mike Mignola, the man what gave birth to Hellboy!
• Several folks who work on the Buffy The Vampire Slayer comic will be there which means I have an excellent chance of locating back issues this year!
• Howard Chaykin! American Flagg! WOO!!!
• Ernie Chan! When you think of 1970's Conan The Barbarian and any artwork other than that of Bart Sears comes to mind? THAT'S HIM!
• Amanda Conner; the Hot Chick who draws ridiculously HOT CHICKS.

Y aknow what? TOO MANY GREAT CREATORS COMING!!! I was gonna go through and comment on all of them that I was stoked to see, but I'm TOO STOKED TO LIST THEM ALL!!!

OHMANOHMANOHMAN! I was gonna post about this, too! I'm pretty excited about Jewel Staite & Tahmoh Penikett (despite the charge, but what can you do, right?), and ESPECIALLY Ernie Chan. Kurt Busiek will be there again, even though he hasn't done any Conan for a while.. I hope to get my Vol. 1 TPB signed at least :)

Also -- SG ladies were really disappointing last year, they all had terrible skin.

The terrible skin is part of what turns me on... makes them seem more vulnerable and willing to do anything for attention :)

I will have Friday and Saturdays off by the time the con rolls around but I even booked the day off on Sunday at work yesterday just in case. I will be there. I only wish I had a Jewel/Serenity/Firefly figure to sign. I guess her figure will have to be enough.
