SPOILERS BE DAMNED! THEY KILLED WESLEY!!!

Just finished off Season 5 of Angel. WTF?!?!

Brit TOLD me that I'd end up really digging the character of Wesley, and all i could think of at the time was "Who, the half-season Watcher Wannabe? Give me a break! There's nothing to like about that character! He's a one-trick pony!"

Angel changed all that and made Wes not just a great Buffyverse character, but one of my Top 5 Favorite Fictional Characters of All Time (Non-Comic Book)!

(Wesley Windham-Price, Ash, Skeeve, Conan The Barbarian and Jayne Cobb. Narrowly edged out of the fifth-place holding was Willy Wonka)

Believe me... under two is NOTHING. Two to three is challenging but fun. And three, so far, is nothing but one battle after another!

I would say play like we do, when Molly's sleeping. But given the frequency of posts where she's up all night with you I'm not sure that'd fly either. The solution seems obvious: Let her play with you.

Since Angel is in my 'To Watch Pile' and getting close I might add, I can't comment on Wesley yet. As for Ash, Skeeve, Conan The Barbarian and Jayne Cobb I definately agree. Skeeve is by far my most favorite. My fifth not in any order would have to include the Cheshire cat.

I can say with 100% certanty that you need to watch all of Buffy before you watch Angel. Lots of people said it wasn't necessary, but I found that it GREATLY improved my enjoyment of both series.

Watching Buffe before Angel certainly gives you some perspective on the characters, particularly Wesley. Still think that Whedon should have killed off Spike, soul or not.

Naaaah, Spike is too profitable of a character. Very merchandisable. None of the dead characters (except for my dearly departed Wsley, Gawd Rest His Soul) where really distinctive enough to sell any merchandise off of (IMO)

Profitable or not, he was still a creep; and very much deserved to die a slow, lingering death.
