Torn

After seeing the Michael Jackson Special tonight, I'm torn. There's the half of me that has been conditioned by The Media to believe that Michael is some sort of twisted kid-toucher who likes to dangle babies out of hotel windows. But half of me wants to believe that he *is* just a very rich man who had a very bad childhood and just wants to help all the children he can feel loved in the way that he never did. Heck, I wish *I* had a rich pop-star who wanted to be my best friend when *I* was growing up!

I think I am changing my beliefs. I think that Michael Jackson really is what he claims to be, and I think he is a great man for wanting to be like that.

I'm glad! I mean, yeah, guy needs some therapy. But I think that he's been treated unfairly. I (just yesterday) read the affadavit from 1993 when he allegedly molested that boy, and it read totally false to me - it reads like someone's idea of what a guy molesting a kid would do. It's at Smoking Gun - you should read it; it's obviously crap.

Man, this sucks! I don't want to be one of those people who dissaproves of Michael Jackson jokes! But just last night I was very dissaproving of the Jay Leno monologue... of course, I *always* hate Jay's monologue, because he just isn't funny... BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT!

I think what got to me the most was the show *after* the MJ Special witha bunch of "grown-ups" saying things like "It just isn't right" and "he just doesn't *get it*, does he?" It all made me very sad :(

Where is that deposition you speak of?
