Why, why WHY must every live-action version of Scooby Doo insist on slutting-up Velma for at least one scene??? Why can't they just leave her as her adorably nerdy pudgy self!

I'm all for gettin' Velma all sexed-up (see My Wife for example)... what I disapprove of... it's that they force in a silly "All Velma needs to get a Man is to dress sluttier and take off her glasses" scene :( How about letting her get a dude (one that ISN'T a stereotypical Jerry Lewis Nutty Professor Nerd) on her own WITHOUT having to put on a push-up bra, low-cut shirt and Tammy Faye Make-Up!

It's the Feminist in me saying this, and she's in agreeance with the Velam-lovin' perv in me as well :)
