Horrified but excited?

I went to Costco tonight, decided to drop by the Halloween Costumes to make sure they still have the Pirate Princess costume that my daughter wants...

...And they've already taken down all the Halloween stuff to replace it with Christmas!

One the one hand I'm all excited because WHEEEEEECHRISTMAS, but on the other hand... it's not even October 1st yet!

But really, which one is better?

HALLOWEEN: Dress up, get candy.

CHRISTMAS: Get candy, cookies, bit fancy dinner AND presents!

Well. That's a hard one. I've already started Christmas shopping .. but I've had to stop myself from putting up the "Haunted House Calendar" since last weekend so ... can't I have both?!

I see... so you're saying we need a Nightmare Before Christmas advent calender the stretches from September 25th to December 25th! I think I can get behind this proposal :)

I prefer Halloween...I am encouraged to dress like a tart and the parties involve more debauchery!
