Crystal and I are getting ready to move. Probably to the Ballinger Lake Area. Closer to her work, closer to Penny & Chris & Britt, closer to everything we like (escept for my parents, but it's only like 10 minutes adde don to the drive).
So the place we looked at yesterday was interesting. The clubhouse really made it all worth while... a huge outdoor pool on a hilltop overlooking the lake, giant work-out room with a TV/VCR and Eliptical Machines (DOUBLE-WAMMY TO GET ME TO WORK OUT!!!), and a PRIVATE THEATER! Giant projection-screen tv with surround-sound in a private, very dark room with 12 theater-type seats in the middle. Hooked up to cable, but also DVD and VHS ready. Do you have any idea how cool my nieces would think that is? Oh, and HUGE grass lawn, bigger than most parks I've been to. Kids were flying kites on it while we were there :)
Unfortunately, the apartments themselves were less than spectacular.
Only about 35-square-feet bigger than our current apartment. No washer and dryer, but each floor has a private laundry room. Lots of windows. No place for the cat box, really... not in the bathroom, at least. AND NO FIREPLACE!!! I think that's my favorite part of the whole thing! No wasted wall-space for a heating device we'll never use!
The final drawback, though, is that it's about $50 a month more than waht we pay right now. And we can barely afford that. But maaaaan... a PRIVATE THEATER!!!
