captain_slinkyI had just finished washing the dishes, drained the sink and my stomach lurched. "Whoa" I thought. It lurched again. "Hey, that feels like-" Third lurch and a HEEEEEEEEEAVEOHMYGODIAMVOMITINGINTHESIIIIIIINK!!!!
And I have *just* enough time to think the thought of "Well that's weird I didn't even feel that coming on I wonder if I have the flu is it something I ate or is it-" and then I got dizzy and my entire body started to ache and I had to go sit down. Mustered up enough energy to send an e-mail to Crystal @ work and then to ask FaceBook if I could really be catching the flu THAT FAST and THAT VIOLENTLY, and everybody said "Yes, yes you can".
Then Crystal got home and I went to bed. I slept for a good 2 hours or so I guess before I realized that the dog-faced gym teacher who had been barking at me in a foreign language to build Disneyland faster event though it was already done being built and the robots were having a wonderful time on the new Shrek Ride but wait Shrek isn't a Disney film OH CRAP WALT'S GONNA BE PISSED better jump through this portal that turns me in to a cartoon version of me so I can blend in and then... where was I?
Oh yeah, the barking. It was actually our new dog, Macey. She was barking at something in our living room. I got up to find out why nobody was stopping the dog from barking and found that no one was here - Crystaland Molly probably went someplace fun. The dog was barking at the delight of realizing she was a dog and could bark, I guess. Anywho, I'm awake enough to write an update on LJ and that's all that counts.
Because some day the world will want to know EXACTLY how I got The Flu in 2011.
