I want to get this listed tonight on Etsy, but figured I'd post it here first just in case anybody here needs a creepy 8-inch vintage Kewpie Doll head... how much do you think I should try to sell it for?
Some materials used were bisque, ceramic, celluloid, composition, porcelin, and chalk.
The wear looks more consistent with composition construction, but I'm only basing this on pictures. I have no actual experience in person with any of this.
It's made of something weird - SAWDUST. Compressed sawdust that has a layer of something like tissue paper over it, then glazed on top of that and then painted on top of that. It's so kewl :)
Aha! 1950's LEGO Charlie Brown part-composition bobblehead. :D Probably in the $30-$40 range. Not particularly uncommon. Now, if you find a Schroeder, on the other hand, you've really got something special.
