Okay, so I used MSPAINT to make a mock-up of my first ever web comic, gonna see what it looks like uploaded in a reduced size, then probably post it full-size if that doesn't work (don't worry, it'll be behind a cut). If you're looking at this through Facebook, you'll need to click over to see this :)

Seriously, it's exciting. A webcomic may sound less than serious, but it is an artistic endeavor. You are able to put things into art that you might not be able to get out any other way, even if that art is stick people or pixel people or DnD miniatures or clip art or even (gasp) actual drawings. I spent a lot of time on my backdrops even though they weren't really crucial to the comic or even recognized by most readers. And the dialog... Try getting a whole world across in three frames. It's a good exercise for any kind of story telling. Break a leg :-)

BTW, the Graphic Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) is free and runs on any platform. It will be a lot easier to do multi level comics with it. A level per dialog bubble, stuff like that. Ping me if you want to talk about that.
