Progresso Soups (the ones like the Chunky Soup) for 99-cents a can. And the points? At the most, 6 points per can. At the least it looks like 3 points per can. I'll have to do the *actual* math on them before I actually eat them. But they're the good, thisk, hearty soups with names like "Grilled Steak and Veggies"!
We bought about $15 worth.
Also got Bananas 5lbs for a dollar, Oranges and Apples 3ls for a dollar. And so much stuff for in salads includding radishes and spinach! Starting tomorrow, the diet is gona rock! But as for tonight, I've still 65 points worth of Sushi to eat!

Date: 2006-03-21 08:58 pm (UTC)The biggest part of this diet IMHO is knowing how to get the biggest amount of food for the least amountof points. A can of Spaghetti-O's comes in at 10 points and is not very filling, where as Apples and Oranges are only a point each! Potato Chips are like 17 points for an ounce (one of those iddy-biddy lunch-size bags), but Popcorn is only 5 points for a half-cup unpopped! That's a HUGE BOWL once popped!
